FW Acrylic Inks
These Daler-Rowney FW Acrylic Artists Ink is fantastic stuff. It is highly pigmented and that makes them vibrant. You can dilute them with water to create watercolor-like washes, draw with the dropper that comes in the lid of the bottle, or use drops of the ink in your artwork.
I especially like how these inspire me to use more color. They flow and create wonderful dripping effects.
I love pretty much everything associated with the fabulous Dina Wakley, so I knew I needed to get the Media Tape sets when they were released. One set has great designs and the other set is blank so that you can create your own. Even cooler is that they're made to be used with paint so that you can color them however you want!
The tag was covered with 3 designs that I made on the blank tape. I even used a Seth Apter stencil to get some words and texture!
These bad boys are made out of solid nylon and make spreading paint easy. They came with a variety of edges (for texture) and I love them all, but my favorites are the ones with the flat edge. They're handy for a variety of projects, whether you need to apply paint, gesso, or gel medium.
They're easy to clean but it's okay if you forget. The dried paint peels off easily.
